Ovalized steel or aluminum headtube?

Whether it's due to single-crown forks getting longer, jumps getting bigger or bikes simply getting ridden harder, ovalizing your headtube sucks. But it doesn't necessarily mean your frame is toast.

From over 25 years experience in the bike industry, we know most headtubes will only go out of round by a small amount. They will usually measure up to 0.2mm oversize front-to-back. If this is the case, then an oversized cup can be installed, making your bike ridable once again. 

Which size? Just measure and divide by two...

• If your headtube measures up to 0.2mm oversize front-to-back, choose the +0.1mm option. 
• For those of you who have really sent it(!) and get a measurement of up to 0.4mm oversize, better choose the +0.2mm option.

All Frame Saver cups accept a 45 degree headset bearing from CaneCreek, Enduro, FSA, Wolftooth and most other brands.
